I find battles to be more focused on who has the best insults, versus who actually has skill as a writer/performer/lyricist; and that to me is counterproductive for myriad reasons.However, when approached to be involved in this, the format of this particular battle intrigued me, as the emphasis on spontaneous delivery that you would have to be psychic to have something written in advance for would actually be about SKILL, NOT COMEDY AND INSULTS.
